For over thirty years Vertes has ranked amongst the most prominent international galleries for Impressionism, Fauvism, German Expressionism, Surrealism, the École de Paris and Pop Art.

Laszlo von Vertes conceived Galerie von Vertes as an international exhibition platform specialized in 20th and 21st century art. Centrally located in the Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich the gallery builds and manages private and public collections, organizes exhibitions and gives lectures on art and art market related subjects. ‘With Vertes I tried to create a democratic space for the exploration and understanding of the inexhaustible diversity of art and its creators’. Exceptional pieces by Albers, Calder, Chagall, Chamberlain, Ernst, Francis, Jawlensky, Kusama, Lichtenstein, Marini, Miró, Poliakoff, Richter, Soulages, Vasarely, Warhol and Wesselmann are permanently on display in the 200 m² gallery in Zurich.
